Grilled Shrimps & Vegitables
Submited by: Pit Boss Mike Hedrick Region: VAWhat we are going to do right now is we are going to go ahead and grill up some vegetables. We are going to throw some shrimps in there just because well, we like shrimps. It is summer time and they are in season. We are here at Virginia. But vegetables are a great thing to grill up because for one, they are good, they are good for you. You cannot just live by big steaks alone. The ladies love them, we are always looking for ways to make the ladies happy at the barbecue.
Ingredients:
Yellow zucchinis
Green zucchinis
Mushrooms
Vidalia sweet onions
Baby carrots
Virgin olive oil
Sesame oil
Pinch of pepper
Salt
Sesame seeds
Shrimp
Butter
Directions:
1. Cut the vegetables up and add olive oil, sesame oil, salt, pepper and sesame seeds. Mix it up thoroughly.
2. Place a grilling wok on a grill set to 450 degrees and place the vegetables in it. Cook them for 15-20 minutes, flipping them every once in a while.
3. Add butter to the shrimp and when the vegetables are halfway done, add the shrimp to them.
4. Plate and serve.
