Testing Racing Electronics Over the Air Programing Scanner

 With the help of our good friend Roger McFadyen at Racing Electronics I now have the latest in Race Scanner Technology. Most folks either own or rent Scanners at the track to listen to their favorite Driver and Team and I'm no different.

This year I added the RE3000 Programing Scanner to my Gemini 4 Headset System. Why did I decide to get this new scanner? Time and Money! There is no more having to buy the Race Scanner Sheet for $5 at each Race and the Scanner Programs itself over the Air. Yep, it programs itself. All I have to do is be at the Track and within 200 feet of one of the dozens of Racing Electronic Booths and select "Program" and it loads all the latest Driver Scanner Codes automatically. So I save the $5 a Race and the 30 minutes of loading just my favorite Driver's codes in. That's pretty cool! All I have to do it select CAR, my Driver's Car # and CAR again and I'm set to go. I have a few set in my Favorites too but won't say who. hahaha

So go see Roger at this week's Race and get your RE3000 Scanner. Tell him Pit Boss Mike Hedrick from Pit Crew Barbeque sent you and he might get you some free batteries or something. Mention Carolina BBQ to him and be ready to enjoy some time talking with a "New Friend".
